Ever since Matthew got his call he has inspired many little nephews that this is the path they will follow. I don't know if Matthew knows how much influence he has on these boys lives. Sunday they talked about missionary work in Primary. Parker was so excited because he has both an uncle and grandparents out on a mission. He was so excited to get a missionary badge and wore it proudly.
Then he wrote Matthew a letter. We will be sending this to him when he gets to Peru.
I am so grateful that Matthew has made this decision and is worthy to serve a mission. He has touched many lives by his example. Not just the people in Ecuador but the family and friends here at home as well.
