Dear Family

Sept. 24, 2012

Dear Family,

Just shooting off a quick note. This week, Santo didn't get baptized. He drank but he will get baptized this week. He's a good man and he even cut off that mop of hair he head on his head. It looks so much better. His appearance is really showing progress. He now comes to church in a button up shirt and dress pants. Still no tie but we're working on that. A good friend gave me some good advice today. “Instead of focusing on the problem, focus on the solution.” It's something I have really learned and it's even better if you apply it.

Love you Guys lots:)

Sept 17, 2012

Dear Family,

What a great week! We had another baptism. The other son of Elsa and Santo was baptized and the two sons got the priesthood yesterday:) Also, Santo, the dad, is getting ready for his baptism this week. Wow, I'm so happy for this man. I have seen a 180 degree change in him. Wow! I love the mission. I would never trade this for anything. I'm so happy that I still have 9 months to work here. It makes me sad to think that's all I have but I know the Prophet called me for just 2 years so I'll do what he called me to do. The mission is such a blessing because it makes you really forget about yourself and your own problems. I HIGHLY recommend asking God if you should serve a mission, Mom and Dad. I have send some pictures of some things that were said in the Liahona about the mission for Senior couples. It will fix so many problems. The Lord blesses us so much when we serve. You seen that perfectly when you served in the temple. I love you all so much and I wish the best for all of you.

Love,

Elder Profaizer

P.S. Sorry, it's a little short this week but I told the most important stuff. Love you guys.
