Dear Familia
August 27, 2012
Dear Familia,
Wow, another week has come and gone and I'm still running. Elsa and Santo didn't get married but they will this week. Pray for their marriage, please! I just want them to get married so bad. Their kids are also going to get baptized.
Dear Familia,
Wow, another week has come and gone and I'm still running. Elsa and Santo didn't get married but they will this week. Pray for their marriage, please! I just want them to get married so bad. Their kids are also going to get baptized.
I'm so happy here in Apolo. Guess
what, this Saturday, D Todd Christopherson is coming to our mission
to talk to us! I'm so stoked. We are going to learn so much and
maybe our mission will break 300 baptisms this month. It's not been
done yet and we are going to do it. Today in council, we looked at
all the numbers and it looks like we might actually be able to do it.
I'm pretty excited. We just gotta work in the Lord's way and not in
our own way and we will pass 300 up. I'm really happy to be in the
mission right now. Always tired but it's still the best thing ever.
I'm pretty happy.
I can't believe we start a new month
this week and I only have 9 more months. The weeks are flying past
and I can't seem to think to myself when I lay down at night before
the alarm is ringing waking me up at 6:30 again. But, as zone
leaders we travel a ton so I get lots of time in the bus to think to
myself and sometimes when I'm not busy, I get a little trunky so it's
just better to always be busy.
I love you all so much. Thanks for
everything and thanks for promising me a new GTO when I get home:)
You're the best!!:)
I'll see you all soon.
Love,
Elder Profaizer

Dear Familia
August 13, 2012
Dear Familia, Wow, what a week! The MISSION IS THE BEST! Well, the Fajardo family got married Monday and got baptized on Saturday. I am so happy for them because it really is a family that is reunited through the church. Eddy, Joel's Dad got divorced from his mother many years ago and the mom went inactive. Joel and his sister never got baptized. But now, several years later, Eddy's dream has come true. He was able to baptize his son! I also had the grand pleasure to baptize Alexandra. I'm so happy! Now we just really need to start working to get Eveline, Joel's little sister baptized. We are also teaching the Familia Ulloa. Wow, what an awesome family. We found them the week before last and Elsa (the mom) went to church, loved it, and accepted to be baptized. She also has to get married but I'm a pro at that now, haha. I've done it 3 marriages, what's another one? Her husband, Santo, is an ex-alcoholic and feels very bad for his past sins. He quit drinking when his son over-dosed. We have been teaching so much about the Plan of Salvation and they are just eating it up. The husband still doesn't feel ready to get baptized but their son wants to with his mother on the 25th. I hope their marriage comes out well. They also came to the baptism of the Fajardo family and they absolutely loved it. They all came to church yesterday. Wow, so satisfying! ESO ES LA OBRA DE MAYOR SATISFACION! I'm so stoked:) Well, you guys have had a few questions lately so I'll finally answer them for ya. I get my mail a little faster cause I am a zone leader but now it includes like a 30 minute bus ride after the zone leader meeting on Mondays so we just don't go for 3 weeks because we are so beat tired. Also, yes, I'm still getting fed well. Well...........not that well, but I'm still getting fed a ton of rice....hmmmmm, you would think after 14 months I would like it...nope! The other day, we were eating and we were given a HUGE plate of JUST rice and then a whole bowl of beans and there was a small bag on the table. I ate till I couldn't anymore cuz rice just bloats ya up, t hen when the Mammita left the room, we shoveled all the rice we could into the bag. It's just what ya gotta do sometimes, haha. About the clothes washing....well, I hand wash a lot and send the rest to the mammita because we just don't have time to take it and to get it. We just never stop running. Zone leader is a lot more than just checking houses. We have sectors in our zone that are over 2 hrs away that we have to travel to so that we can get to know the people that are getting baptized and all that..... Wow, so tired. I think I'll let my comp write now so I can catch a little shut eye in this little hot cyber cafe. Love you guys a lot:) Love, Your Son, Elder Profaizer

Dear Family, La Peluca Sabe!!!!
August 20, 2012
Dear Family, La Peluca Sabe!!!!!! What a great week:) I'm so happy to be a missionary and Colton CAN NOT BE GETTING MARRIED FOR AT LEAST 10 MORE MONTHS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! haha, gosh that's so crazy:) I'm loving life right now. The life of a zone leader is crazy and never stops and puts a big dent in your wallet but, oh well, the more sacrifices we make, the more blessings we get:) We are having a couple little problems in the zone but they are working out:) From the Zone leader point of view, you see things in a much different way and you see the strengths and weaknesses of each missionary and if they are being obedient, it just rings out in their numbers and their attitudes. The spirit is really there helping us also. Especially in the district meeting. I'm always teaching the classes to some districts and my companion teaches the other districts so I'm getting lots of practice working with the others a lot. Gosh what an opportunity!!! I'm loving life here, but I think a lot about cars and the shop, haha. I feel that's just burnt into my soles, haha. I still hope to come home and pick up on a cool car:):) Like a GTO or a Solstice. Do I hear Christmas gift??:) Haha, just kidding, just kidding. Gosh, I can't believe in just 4 months we will be talkin on the phone again. I'm so excited! Well, that's all I really have to tell you guys today. Hope to have baptisms this week cuz, ohhh guess what, another couple are getting married this week! I think I should change my name to “HITCH”. We are marrying people left and right and my converts are helping us so much. They just tell the people that are thinking about getting married to do it. Alicia Moreno, in gospel principles class just straight out tells people to get married and baptized. She's soo cool! Love you guys lots:) Elder Profaizer
