Hello my long lost family:
Wow, you
can believe I have completed 10 months yesterday? That’s crazy! And the work is still
going. Well, first things first,
CONGRATULATIONS KATIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WOW, I’M SO PROUD OF YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Let
this be a lesson to everyone. If she can
do it in her life, then SO CAN YOU!
Remember it’s a commandment to always further your knowledge. Mom and Dad, if you are taking at least one
class in something, you guys gotta do it!
Really, that will benefit your life so much. God doesn’t like when we just stalemate in
our life and just keep doing the same thing.
We had a class this week about your talents. We all have talents and we just have to develop
them. Go and take a class, make goals,
and learn something new!!! We always
need to set goals in life and we need to put a time to end them by also. We make goals everyday for people to get
baptized and change their lives. It’s not like we just baptize people, it’s a
bigger process than you think if you haven’t been on a mission. You need to learn how to plan always one week
in advance what you are going to be doing the next week. At times, plans change but it’s better to
have a basic outline of what you are going to do. The big business men in Japan plan for the
next 3 YEARS OF THEIR BUSINESS! I
recommend for all of you to plan out your time well and stick to your plan
because if not, when we don’t plan it, we waste time. I can see how much time I wasted in college
when I had “time to kill”. If I would
have planned something, I would have more money and better grades, but that’s
why we are here, to learn. Get Preach my
Gospel and read the part that says weekly planning then apply it in your own
life. BriAnna, you can do all that stuff
you have planned if you want, but don’t plan just to do it, but how to do it
and in what time span and you will work harder and get more stuff done. MAKE GOALS everyone, it will benefit your
lives so much.
Well that’s
enough of, well, what they call it here is “Machete”
Oh, so this
week my companion and I made a grill out of a fan, haha. We are going to cook hamburgers this Thursday
night because he is going to complete 6 months in the mission. Instead of burning a tie for his six month
anniversary, we are going to shake things up a little by making hamburgers on
our roof. Oh, and just in case you are
wondering, No, I didn’t burn a tie at my six months, I just ate chocolateJ I am my grandfather’s grandson.
I showed
one family we are teaching a picture of my family and 23 year old Stefany, who
is living with your boyfriend and has 3 kids and is trying to change her
life. She was amazed how happy our
family looked and she told me that Mom looks like an angel. I have to agree. When I see you guys faces, it really brings
me so much joy to see a happy family because we work with so many sad ones all
the time.
Guys, I
love you all so muchJ Please listen
to my counsel. It’s actually counsel
from my President who is a VERY successful businessman. He knows Japanese, English, and French along
with Spanish. He is into international
business and is a millionaire. He says
the only way he became like that was planning.
Plan your lives because if not, one day will come and you will not have
done what you really wanted to do or learn.
When you get back to Heavenly Father and he asks you what you did with
your talent, you will have to tell him if you cultivated it or didn’t do
anything. Think how you will feel
telling him you tried your hardest or if you didn’t even try. God loves us so much and he is always
there. I love you guys so much and I’ll
see you in a short 14 months J
